And, if next-level beauty looks are of any consideration, it’s about time we all read up.įounded by: Laura and John Nelson in 2014. So, if you, too, have ever questioned the hype or doubted the glowing reviews, let me be the first to admit: ColourPop Cosmetics is a brand for the books. And thank god I did because I’ve found a handful (okay, two handfuls) of new products I’ll forever keep room for in my routine. Well, fast forward to quarantine, and your girl had all the time in the world to get hands-on with new beauty products. Whether they’re being applauded for their latest lip launch or ogled over for their next-level shadow and blush textures, there’s no denying that the millennial makeup brand constantly has its lips (and lids and cheeks and brows) on the pulse of the hottest trends in beauty.Īs a former beauty editor (and current beauty writer), I’ve always had ColourPop in my figurative back pocket, knowing it was a brand I needed to try but never quite making the time due to being under the silly assumption that, if it’s so cheap, how could the quality be that stellar? But like I said earlier, I'm running low on my ride-or-die and the Shape Tape concealers ain't cheap, so I decided to try out the hyped up No Filter Concealers from ColourPop which retail for only $6!Īs you can see from the photo above, I've used a pretty decent amount of the darker shade because I wanted to really test this product out before I gave my final thoughts, and the verdict is: I LOVE IT! It's not as good as the Tarte Shape Tape, let me tell you that right now, but for $6, it's amazing! I haven't tried a drugstore concealer that performs as good as the ColourPop No Filter Concealers, and with the many shades ColourPop carries now, I'm sure you'll be able to find your perfect match.ColourPop Cosmetics-maybe you’ve heard of it. When I tried out the Tarte Shape Tape over a year ago, I fell absolutely in love and I didn't really use anything else. My under eye creases like it's nobody's business so I need to make sure the concealers I use are full coverage and crease-proof. I am very picky when it comes to my concealers because I have terrible dark circles. If you have already used the concealers, let me know what you thought about them in the comments below because I'm sure that will help others too! For today's review, I will be talking about the No Filter Concealers. Hopefully, this review will be helpful if you are planning to try these for yourself. I've been trying out these products for a few weeks now, and I finally have my complete thoughts on them. But since I'm running low on my favorite Tarte Shape Tape concealer, I decided to try out a couple of ColourPop's No Filter concealers because I've heard so many great things about them! And to avail of the free shipping, I picked up a couple other things I haven't tried before: one LUX lipstick, their Pressed Powder Cheek (Blush), and their Clear Brow Boss Gel (will blog about the other three soon). I told myself to only buy makeup that I need, and that's honestly one of the biggest reasons why I stopped doing monthly favorites, and why I rarely talk about new makeup products. I used to always buy the latest releases and used the excuse "it's for my work" to justify the purchases, but that stopped last year (if I'm not mistaken).
